My name is Renee. I love to travel. I usually have to talk my husband, Paige, into my crazy trips. Once he reluctantly agrees to go along with the plan, he has a lot of fun.
I was never really into history until I started to understand it more with traveling. I love the culture and history of the places that I have visited and look forward to learning more as we continue our adventures.
We love to eat and have to try all of the typical foods of each region. Food is always top of our to do list!
We are very frugal in our travels (sometimes we splurge, like a Parador in Spain is a must, thank you Kathryn for exposing me to Paradors), but for the most part we can find beautiful lodging for modest fees. I hope to feature our favorites.
